What are you searching for???

I have a secret to admit- I am fascinated by my Blog Stats and I check these regularly (despite my non regular blogging :-p). I think it is amazing that I can click a few buttons and see which Countries you guys are reading from!!! But my favourite thing to do is browse the search keywords that people use and end up being sent to this blog. I have been chuckling and saving these up for a while, and thought I would share them with you.

  • Jumpers for sausage dogs.
  • I am a plonker.
  • Snippets of loveletters.
  • Professionals on Hamsters.
  • I am crazy about sausage dogs.
  • Need some love letters.
  • Naughty blogspot.
  • Funny birthday songs snippets.
  • 8 dogs in one day xx.
  • Crazy glitter girl.

So if you found your way here by any of these, thanks for making me smile and I hope you found something that was a tiny bit helpful, or slightly related to what you wanted. If you are the person needing a loveletter; I am sure we can sort something!

Seven Things for Seven Days

I have borrowed this idea, and if you do not know where from- you must be crazy and living under a stone, so crawl out and come have a look at this beautiful place!

I have a wonderful week of annual leave from work, and have returned to enjoy some home comforts. I thought this blogpost would be a good way to plan what I want to achieve... before I return to London and realise I have led on the sofa in the same pyjamas for a whole week watching Toddlers and Tiaras. Ooops.

So here are 7 things I would like to achieve.

1. Go to play grannies having tea and cake with my best friend Sarah. Hopefully I will return home with mascara down my face, and not feeling too guilty that she checks my blog everyday with a disappointed feeling when there is nothing to read.

2. Not to feel stressed about work, demanding parents, bossy doctors or children spitting medicine in my face.

3. Paint my nails pretty colours with glitter, because I do not have to take it off the next day :-D

4. Appreciate that this week I do not have to be a grown up and enjoy my parents cooking and cleaning, and maybe help a tiny bit.

5. Repot my cactus that my parents kindly foster for me because I have no room in my cupboard London bedroom.

6. Cuddle my cats at least a billion times a day, and to be nice to Sir Maslow at 4am when he gets in the bed soaking wet and muddy, to dribble on my face purring extra loud because he is so pleased with himself.

7. Find a new perfect blusher.

These may not sound like huge goals, but I feel it is about time I give in and have a good rest before I explode.

P.S. If you have noticed my absence then I am really sorry. I debated whether or not to make a post dedicated to this, but figured it is not much fun reading about someone who cannot balance a job, making sure the washing up does not flow out the front door, going out for a mojito and seeing some humans outside of work occasionally, avoiding having ready meals for every meal, talking stupidly to cats on the phone and blogging. If only I had a Bernard's watch...

P.P.S. But if you did not realise my absence... pretend you did not read that and continue thinking I am some kind of superwoman.

Posing like a Goon.

Since starting this blog I have been "attempting" to take outfit pictures. A number of reasons have been holding me back...

  1. A number of my friends have no idea about this blog, and therefore it is impossible to get anyone to take pictures without weird questions.
  2. I have no spacious rooms to attempt to work my timer (I live in a shared flat with some girls who hibernate like wild animals and store their stuff everywhere!!!).
  3. I probably spend more time choosing my sweets in Tesco than my outfit in the morning.
  4. My pyjamas are probably my most worn clothes.
  5. I pose like a goon. :-p
Here is a sneaky peek at some of the attempts I have tried. I will continue to try in the future and maybe one day I will crack it.

Graduation Dress Hunting

I have recently been shopping for that "perfect graduation dress". I have to admit I was stumped at what I really wanted. A formal dress is just not me, I was searching for something cute and fun. Let me just tell you it was a nightmare- I must have pulled 100 dresses over my head. I thought I would show you a few of my favourites that I found.

Miss Selfridge- Petites Printed Prom Dress £47

House of Fraser True Decadence- Crochet Back-less dress £54.99

Oasis- Lace Cutaway Dress Sale £40

Topshop- Heart Back Rib Prom Dress £55

Oasis- Hannah Dress Sale £25

Miss Selfridge- Print Mesh Detail Prom Dress £55

Dorothy Perkins- Scalloped Beaded Dress £60

I am in love with the Topshop Dip Dye Dress, it made me want to spin in circles and play pass the parcel sadly I felt it was more for playing tea party than graduating.

I did not actually manage to buy one dress... I bought two (eeek)- one slightly more formal, one slightly more fun and poofy. Now I just have to decide which is more suitable (Be warned the following pictures do the dresses no justice- also the second dress is not that short, the models legs are obviously longer than my entire body!!!).

Debenhams Julien Macdonald- Pink Pleated One Shoulder Dress Sale £27.50

Debenhams Henry Holland- Blue Abstract Flower Taffeta Dress Sale £32

Which of these is your favourite? Help me please. Also if you have any exciting suggestions for flat shoe that match, let me know- I am not taking the risk of falling over in heels.

Putting the Flo back in Flo-rence.

Sorry to be glum chaps but I need a bit of extra puff- I seem to have misplaced my glass that is always half full at the moment. I thought this was a good opportunity to apologise for my lack of blogging and give you a little explanation. You may know if you have been tagging along for a while I moved to London to start out on a new and exciting career. But being a paediatric nurse is sadly not all about playing games with children and cuddling adorable babies. Some days are pretty tough and I am finding my spare time to blog is limited. :-(

In an attempt to be less bitter I have spent the afternoon browsing the internet for nursing inspiration. What is even sadder than that is... I have not found a lot out there.

I never intended on blogging about work but I am hoping to incorporate an element of nursing to my little internet space. With the hope I can make myself and others smile (or cry- who knows?). Don't get me wrong, I love the job most of the time.

Happy Daddies Day

I wanted to do this blog for two reasons. To say a hugeeee Happy Fathers Day (because I accidently forgot to post your card and left it in London)  and because after reading my Mothers Day post you told me you had better get the same treatment- I want to avoid favouritism (obviously I like you best but don't tell MoiMoi).

Here are a few reasons your the best dad in the whole wide world...
  • always being so funny and making me laugh.
  • arranging the best holidays ever.
  • bringing me a cup of tea in bed every morning when I am at home.
  • helping me rescue and look after so many animals.
  • taxi'ing me around and sleeping outside in the car till we are finished in the club, and pretending you enjoyed it.
  • making Mister Tibbles and Sir Maslow miow to me on the phone whenever I speak to you, so that I can catch up with them.
  • providing endless fun activities and outings (even if we do end up in the rain on the beach at midnight, or spend 10 hours freeeeeezing making an igloo).
  • the indescribable nose/knobbly knees/strange toe genes.
  • being the dad everyone is jealous of.
  • for filling my computer with pictures of you that make me smile and think of happy memories.

Thank you. I really appreciate everything you have ever done for me (I will continue to appreciate you doing a lot more) There is definitely 100% not a better dad out there. I hope you have a lovely day playing with your present.

Lots and lots and lots of love

What A Naughty Blogger...

Hello Strangers.

Unfortunately I am not going to lie to you, I have not:

  • flown away in a rocket ship to the moon.
  • swapped bodies with Zebedeee and spent all my time crunching peanuts and chewing carpet.
  • become a famous movie star and jetted off to Hollywood.
  • ran away and joined the circus.
  • fell in a massive hole and grew a beard to use as a rope to climb out.
  • been eaten by a dinosaur and studied the anatomy.
  • found an invisible cloak and snooped around in your wardrobe.
  • been captured and locked up by an evil queen.

I have simply been a naughty blogger, and had a little blogging holiday. Everyone is a allowed a sneaky one now and again.

I have missed you and you and you and you. (but I think secretly Zebedeee has missed blogging more)
