Wham bam thank you jam.

I feel I should apologise for the quality of these pictures, however a) I am not going to pretend my pictures are normally fantastic and b) if you could feel the excitement in my mouth (and belly) you would want to rush your pictures too :-)

Introducing... The Jam Tree starring my beautiful housemates Louise & Sarah in the city. This bar/restaurant is in Clapham, and definitely worth a visit (even if you only visit for the jam based cocktails).

Jammy Dodger
Butterscotch Schnapps, Frangelico and Chambord shaken with double cream and raspberry jam
(This is probably the best cocktail I have ever had ever ever ever)

Wham bam thank you jam
Vanilla vodka, Chambord and Passoa with raspberry jam and sour mix topped with popping candy

Pulled Pork Burger & Sweet Potato Fries
with Pico De Gallo, Tomatillo Salsa, and Slaw

Vegetarian Rendang
With Basmati Rice

Grilled Haddock Fillet
With Bubble and Squeak, Crispy Poached Egg and Sorrel Cream

Salted Caramel Brownie
With Dulce De Leche Ice cream

It is somewhere to visit when you need that "nice" dinner location. The bill was approximately £45 each, this was for 2 courses and 2 cocktails each. The food was delicious, and we scoffed the lot. But my highlight of the entire evening besides finding a kitten to snuggle on the way home, was the jammy dodger cocktails, they are indescribable. I am looking forward to summertime to sit in the garden and enjoying the tasty little buggars. However at £9 each I feel slightly guilty at the amount I could spend- I think maybe it might be time to have a cheeky reinventing session at home.

Too adorable.

I have never been one for false nails:
1) Nursing is not the right career for beautiful nails.
2) I hate it when you loose one and they look uneven.
3) My fingers always end up stuck together during the application process.

Therefore I normally managed to ignore them completed whilst shopping.  I ventured to Primark recently (this sentence always ends in a disaster and my bank card shaking with fear), and I somehow spotted a shelf lined with the most adorable nails ever. I decided to treat my sister to a couple of sets, as I know I will not be able to appreciate them myself and I thought I should definitely share them with you.

Just eeeeeeek.

OOTD #3

According to my boyfriend, this is me being Gangster. I would say casual. Seeing as he took these pictures I guess what he says goes.

Scarf- Country Show
Tank top- Primark
Super long sleeved top- Primark (I have to roll the arms twice)
Jeans- Topshop
Coat- Primark
Shoes- Peckham

These shoes are new, admittedly they were cheap, and may fall apart after a few weeks... BUT it was 3 pairs of shoes for £10. Can you really go wrong with that? I found them in a little shop in Peckham when my sister dragged me to Poundland Avenue. Eeeeekk! I have to admit I love a 99p store bargain.

So yeah... these pictures are old. Sue me. Bye Toffeenut latte, I will miss you insanely till next year.

OOTD #1

So I rarely post any outfit pictures on this blog, this is for 3 main reasons:

1) I always look awkward.

2) My Blackberry and camera are about 5 years old and make things a bit tricky.

3) You will see I am the reason Primark is still in business.

However.... After months of Orange issues and awaiting the next billing date in order for them to tell me another lie (this is a story worth starting a new blog about). I cancelled my contract and finally  upgraded to an iPhone, yayy! Sadly an iPhone is not going to make me into a outfit posing pro, but can take a few pictures or two with the help of an unwilling assistant.

P.S if you do not own a pair of Primark super cosy tights... Then you better run there right now or your feet will hate you for the deprivation of fleecy lining.

P.P.S this is my first blog post from my phone!!!!
