What a sad sad moment :-(

When your hear that dreaded rip in your favourite jeans that you wear everyday even though you have a wardrobe full of other jeans that you are waiting to fit into/waiting for your legs to grow or shrink/or simply waiting until you actually like the horrendous things (whatever possessed you to buy them?)

Then it is that awful decision time. Can you get away with the rip in the crotch? Or is it time to put them in the pile of your other old favourites that you cannot bear to throw away?

I hate choosing jeans due to my little short stumps that are apparently legs.

The jeans I am currently mourning over were New Look jeans, that I believe they have stopped making and replaced with these. Most New Look stores do not stock these jeans for stumpies, so I have to order them. I feel like I need a change though. Do any of you have any recommendations for 28 inch jeans? :-)

In the meantime a serious bit of lusting over jeans and longer legs.

Banana's in Pyjamas anyone?

Mmmmmmmm I hope you have joined me in jean heaven.

lotsoflove

  1. I have really short legs, New Look don't do a length short enough for me haha! I buy my jeans from Next in the petite range and they fit really, really nicely! x

  2. My everyday jeans are from new look and starting to rip, I'm devastated, I don't know how I'll survive without them. I, like you, have rather short legs, I always tend to go for a straight leg fit, they aren't too long and look great with heels or flats. I also have some awesome floral jeans from Next, they are so comfy, however belts are still needed. Although Dorothy Perkins can be rather good for jeans! xox

  3. Aww don't worry i can't ever buy jeans or leggings because they come up as ankle swingers :( so the grass isn't much greener on the other side!
haha i love the jeans you have picked here i have the baby pink ones they are lovely but come up very small so i had to get a size 12 instead of a 10 which was depressing!
Hope you get another perfect pair :)

  5. Oh hey, I have midget legs too! Literally the only jeans that fit me perfectly are the Topshop petite ones...they may be more expensive but they're really worth it as they're good quality & fit like a glove.

I get the 29 inch leg but they do 28 inch & there's all different waist sizes so you can get the right fit. :D wahey, sorted.x x

  6. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Gap jeans, and they're really good quality too!

Depending in how bad the rip is you should think about taking your old ones to a tailor. My boyfriend ripped the crotch of his favourite jeans and my local tailor managed to fix them for about £8!
