Wham bam thank you jam.

I feel I should apologise for the quality of these pictures, however a) I am not going to pretend my pictures are normally fantastic and b) if you could feel the excitement in my mouth (and belly) you would want to rush your pictures too :-)

Introducing... The Jam Tree starring my beautiful housemates Louise & Sarah in the city. This bar/restaurant is in Clapham, and definitely worth a visit (even if you only visit for the jam based cocktails).

Jammy Dodger
Butterscotch Schnapps, Frangelico and Chambord shaken with double cream and raspberry jam
(This is probably the best cocktail I have ever had ever ever ever)

Wham bam thank you jam
Vanilla vodka, Chambord and Passoa with raspberry jam and sour mix topped with popping candy

Pulled Pork Burger & Sweet Potato Fries
with Pico De Gallo, Tomatillo Salsa, and Slaw

Vegetarian Rendang
With Basmati Rice

Grilled Haddock Fillet
With Bubble and Squeak, Crispy Poached Egg and Sorrel Cream

Salted Caramel Brownie
With Dulce De Leche Ice cream

It is somewhere to visit when you need that "nice" dinner location. The bill was approximately £45 each, this was for 2 courses and 2 cocktails each. The food was delicious, and we scoffed the lot. But my highlight of the entire evening besides finding a kitten to snuggle on the way home, was the jammy dodger cocktails, they are indescribable. I am looking forward to summertime to sit in the garden and enjoying the tasty little buggars. However at £9 each I feel slightly guilty at the amount I could spend- I think maybe it might be time to have a cheeky reinventing session at home.
